At the recently concluded InfoComm 2024 (Las Vegas), Planar under Leyard demonstrated our industry leadership to a global audience with industry-leading products and solutions such as the UHD Micro LED display and the groundbreaking application of AI cloud platform remote monitoring system. Two products under Planar were honored with “Best in Show” and “Installation Product” awards, respectively, for their innovative solutions and outstanding performance.

As a global VFX technology & innovation leader, we and our brands have been active in professional, high-end exhibitions across the world and have won a number of awards at InfoComm, including the "Best in Show" from Digital Signage Magazine for Planar® Luminate™ Ultra W Series and the "Installation Product" from Systems Contractor News for Planar® DirectLight® Pro Series at the 2024 session.

The “Best in Show” recognizes outstanding products on display at the show, such as Planar Luminate Ultra W series with superior performance. The “Installation Product”, presented by Systems Contractor News, honors the most innovative commercial AV products, such as Planar DirectLight Pro Series which was named a winner in the Most Innovative Video Display category.

Incorporating Micro LED technology and a 16 to 9 aspect ratio, the Planar Luminate Ultra W-Series Micro LED products, launched in May, enables users to create standard resolution in outdoor LEDs and offers a new experience of enjoying rich media content up close, outdoors. With up to 3,000 nit of brightness, W series supports the minimum viewing distance of 8 feet and remains visible even in direct sunlight. Thanks to the industry-leading Micro LED and Glue-on-Board (GOB), this series is also durable and easy to clean.

Besides, Planar® UltraRes™ L series LEDs were named the “Best in Show” by Digital Signage Magazine at InfoComm 2023.

Planar DirectLight Pro Series features higher brightness, 5G video architecture, multiple cabinet sizes and controller options to support a wider range of indoor fixed installation scenarios. Available in 0.9 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.8 mm pixel pitches, Pro series provides images of vibrant colors and higher detail. This series is also available for custom sizes and resolutions for faster deployment. In addition, Planar® EverCare™ Limited Lifetime Warranty reduces the cost of ownership.

Planar® DirectLight® Ultra™ received the “Installation Product” award from Systems Contractor News in 2022.
