The WCIDDI 2024 was held grandly in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China from December 19 to 20. Leyard’s industry-leading next generation of high-level MIP was included among the WCIDDI 2024 Innovations - Top 10 Innovative Technologies (Products) for its leadership, competitiveness, suitability and distinctiveness.

With technology in mind, Leyard has been pursuing technology-driven development and has kept launching industry-leading display technologies and products, which are the first of their kind in the world, and leading the high-quality development of the industry.

 

On November 20, Leyard’s self-developed next generation of full-process high-level MIP line (Micro LED packaging) Phase I was officially put into operation at its Leadstar facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu.

 

The launch of Leyard’s high-level MiP, the first of its kind in the world, and its production line, which covers upstream constant current chip, self-developed control system chips and related image processing chips, drives the LED display industrial chain forward.

 

The line has created more space for semiconductor chips in the semiconductor field, promoted the development of mass transfer equipment, welding and cutting test equipment in the equipment field, and is expected to drive the NPP display market scale quickly break through the ¥20-billion mark in the field of display applications.

 

This will enable the company to keep leading and driving Micro LED display related technological innovation while accelerating cost reduction, efficiency increase and large-scale application of Micro LED display products.

 

In order to further reduce the cost of Micro LED and to accelerate its extensive development and adoption, we will keep promoting the mass production and application of glass-based high-level MiP products through cooperation.
